Sajjad holds a degree in Computer Sciences and Electronics Engineering. While pursuing his passion for education as CEO of Focus College, he also runs a successful software business. Despite his busy schedule he makes sure to give enough time and attention to his charity work and non-profit ventures.

Colleen backpacked Europe & Egypt after high school. She attended Mount Royal College, SAIT & BCIT. After several years working in an ad agency environment she launched CanScribe Career College. Colleen is an avid traveler and is passionate about supporting education and micro-loan projects in third world countries.

Baljit Dhaliwal

Baljit holds a Master’s degree in Education and is passionate about higher learning as he continues his doctorial studies. He brings 35 years of experience in banking, finance and accounting to his role at Focus College. His favourite sport is golf. He enjoys giving back to his community by serving as Director on the Surrey Board of Trade.

Bill earned his M.Sc. in International Management from the University of Liverpool and have served in management roles in higher education institutions for more than a decade. Prior to his career change to higher education 12 years ago, Bill worked in sales & marketing management for more than 14 years, covering hospitality, retail and IT industries, in a dozen or so countries. Bill enjoys road trips and is a firm believer in life-long learning.

Shenaya believes that the foundation for intellectual growth is education. Having lived in various countries, she loves travel and culture. Shenaya holds a degree in communications and publishing and a master's in organizational leadership. In her off time she is an online fitness coach & volunteers at the YMCA as a fitness instructor.

Eileen has a certificate in OUC for Office Assistant and an art certificate. She brings over 25 years of experience in customer service and 10 years of experience in retail management. Eileen enjoys painting, camping and water sports.

Aditya holds a double Bachelors in Communications and Sociology at Simon Fraser University. Internationally educated in three continents, he serves as an advisor to students from all countries. In his spare time, he loves to watch and play cricket while advocating the advancement of social justice and freedom of voice.

Lemoney has a Bachelor’s in Science specializing in molecular biology and biochemistry. Her role in student services parallels her values to mentor and tutor students as they migrate in the Canadian education system. She enjoys paper crafting, drawing and staying connected with community affairs.

Justin moved from Vancouver to Kelowna at the age of 5. After high school, he attended the University of British Columbia – Okanagan and graduated with a degree in Management. In 2015 Justin spent four months on exchange at the University of Birmingham in England. Justin is a die-hard Canucks fan. He enjoys coaching and playing soccer in his spare time.

Sheila is a native Calgarian who moved to the Okanagan in 1990. She has extensive skills in accounting, Human Resources, Office Management, training and supervision of Staff. Her prior experience includes working for a Property Management/ Real Estate Company, Law Firm and the Manufacturing Industry. She is an outdoor enthusiast who likes to keep busy. She enjoys hiking, camping, snowshoeing, golfing traveling and spending time with her two children, family and friends.

Michelle holds a Diploma in Business, Travel & Tourism and Hospitality Management along with numerous other certifications. She has extensive experience in Sales, Client Management, Customer/Public relations, training and teaching. Michelle has spent the last 14 years working in the post Secondary industry where she has helped numerous individuals change their lives through education. In her spare time Michelle enjoys spending time with family & friends, fishing and riding her motorcycle.
